Center Update
In 2019, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute launched the Lynch Syndrome Center, which is the largest and most comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer genetics group in the region that specializes in coordinating all aspects of care for people with Lynch syndrome. Founded by Sapna Syngal, MD, MPH and under the direction of Matthew Yurgelun, MD, the center offers a unique model of coordinated care that serves patients at every stage of their Lynch syndrome journey. The center provides “one-stop shopping”, allowing patients to receive their care all under one roof.

Gut Instincts Webinar Series Highlights
The Young-Onset Colorectal Cancer Center's Gut Instincts series is a quarterly educational workshop focusing on issues impacting individuals diagnosed with colorectal cancer under age 50. Past topics include fertility preservation, screening information, and ostomy care. The events are intended for healthcare professionals, patients and supporters and are free to attend.

50th Anniversary - This year marks the 50th anniversary of our adult stem cell transplantation program. Since the program began, tremendous progress has been made through innovation, research, and advanced patient care. We have been able to utilize stem cell transplantation to offer cure and better quality of life to more than 11,000 patients. Our commitment to improving outcomes for patients continues with a focus on preventing relapse after stem cell transplant, managing complications of stem cell transplant, and making stem cell transplant accessible to more patients.
